Analysis and handling of the ID 115U from Coolead.

As a preamble to this test

Nowadays, there are several hundred watches connected.Functions range from monitoring fitness, health, calculating the number of steps, but also measuring calories burned, or sleep patterns.

Several weak points on this watch :
– Not enough functionality for good health monitoring
– Not enough sport-oriented features
– The impossibility of putting new applications

Our analysis has identified all cases of use of this connected watch.

The watch that tells you about your health?

Connected watches have become excellent tools for health analysis, which you would not normally expect from a product like this. They may or may not be coupled with other devices such as the telephone or computer.
The ID 115U is a little outdated compared to the latest devices on the market. It may be used for simple information purposes only.

The main difference with known watches is that it does not run on PropriƩtaire or Apple. The use is less intuitive than with other watches. We are far from the smooth navigation of models with PropriƩtaire or Apple Watchs.
After a few weeks, you will be more comfortable with its handling.
If sleep analysis is your priority, you will need to look at another model.
Through the accelerometer, the watch will be able to follow your physical activity. It is possible to analyze and interpret the movements of daily life. That is to say that the gestures of the hand or arms will be translated into movement, synchronized to your health application and will give rise to health advice.
This model is not equipped with photoplethysmography or PPG, which allows precise monitoring of the heart rate.
In case you need to have the heartbeat curve, this watch is not recommended as it does not have an ECG sensor.

A smartwatch for everyday life

Are all connected watches gadgets or are some of them special? It is a product that is sometimes expensive, for limited use.For the ID 115U, this is what you can expect.
This model belongs is well placed if compared with current smartwatches. This watch informs you and gives advice.
Among the list of features we would have liked is GPS.Coolead didn’t see fit to install it.
Note that it has a watertightness certification.Because of its design, you will be able to swim with it.We haven’t tested this last point, but we can take the company at its word.
It would have been appreciated if this watch had been sold with a reinforced glass; accidents like scratches happen quickly.
You don’t have a touch screen on this watch. The NFC option is not integrated in this watch connected, which means no contactless payment.
Finally, even if it is not essential, we would have appreciated being able to listen to music. The function is not available here.

Coolead’s smartwatch: a good choice for sports?

A connected watch is for everyone, which means you don’t have to be an extreme runner or jogger to use it.It allows you to analyze performance in real time. And as far as the ID 115U is concerned, here’s the thing.
This new model is not for those who play sports on a regular basis.Even for the occasional sportsman, this watch won’t do.
There is a good chance that sportsmen and women who want to stay as light as possible will regret the absence of GPS.This means that you will need to carry your smartphone with your watch if you want to accurately track your running, cycling or hiking session.
You will not be able to read the tracking data on your watch; you will have to do this on your smartphone. In return for this inconvenience, you will have an extended battery life.
An analysis function of the calories burned is present on this model.

However, if you like to listen to your music while you play sports, this watch is to be avoided.

The Coolead watch: a good choice to be connected?

There are different operating systems installed on smartwatches.Associated applications do not allow the same types of use. These applications not only display notifications on your wrist, they can keep you entertained, track your fitness and health, and help you stay organized.
Due to its configuration, this smartwatch limits the addition of new applications.
The choice of this watch will be made only on the applications it contains. Also, apart from the original applications, there is no possibility of having any others.
And if you need an application in addition to those installed by default, you will have to turn to another model. However, it remains a simple and cheap product for basic uses.

ID 115U, the right choice for the right use

As you can see, this watch is not one of the best. It’s fast, inexpensive, and easy to replace if you see your need changes.
The weak points of this connected watch are :- Little functionality for health monitoring
– Not enough sport-oriented features
– The impossibility of putting new applications
